The Toledo Museum of Art in Ohio launched its redesigned and expanded Web site on December 30, 2009. Its design, content and functionality, part of a re-branding campaign, were a joint effort by the TMA's Office of Communications and Madhouse, a Toledo-based graphic design agency.

New features of the museum's Web site include: a calendar by Google with all of the institution's educational programming; online registration information for art classes and workshops; links to Facebook and Twitter; the online museum store; details about current and upcoming special exhibitions; and selections from the TMA's world-renowned collection of art from ancient Egypt to modern times.

Kelly Fritz Garrow, Director of Communications, said, "More and more people are turning to the Internet as a primary source of news and information. It's essential for the museum to have an active and vibrant online presence. As a brand, the Toledo Museum of Art enjoys high levels of awareness and favorability. This process is meant to refocus and refresh museum communications to reach new audiences while still engaging our long-time supporters."
