Developed from glass negatives, black-and-white photographs by The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Harry Burton capture many of the precious artifacts in the modest four-chamber tomb of ancient Egypt’s Pharaoh Tutankhamun (r. 1332-1323 B.C.), a site discovered by British archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922.
